Account and data deletion

This page explains how users of the Capital Medical mobile app and online store can request deletion of their customer account and associated personal data.

How to request account deletion

1. Email info@capitalmedical.ph using the email address registered to your Capital Medical account.
2. Use the subject Capital Medical Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your full name, registered email address, and registered phone number. Do not send your password, card number, government ID, or medical information.
4. Our team may contact you using your registered details to verify ownership and prevent unauthorized deletion.

After verification, we aim to complete eligible deletion requests within 30 days. We will email you when the request has been completed or if additional information is required.

Data that will be deleted

• Your customer profile and account credentials
• Saved delivery addresses
• Wishlist and other account preferences
• Optional profile images and other account content that is not required for legal records

Data that may be retained

Completed orders, invoices, payment references, delivery records, refund or warranty records, and related communications may be retained when needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, consumer protection, or other legal obligations. These transaction records may be retained for up to five years after the relevant transaction, or longer when required by applicable law or an active legal claim. Retained records will no longer be used as an active customer account.

Deleting specific data without deleting your account

You may also request correction or deletion of specific optional account information by emailing the same address and describing the data concerned. Some transaction information cannot be removed immediately when retention is legally required.
